Message From The President

“Hi everyone! My name is Carlee McCook, and I have the privilege of serving as the President of Delta Gamma this year. I am so excited for you to explore our website and get a glimpse into our incredible sisterhood.

Delta Gamma has been life changing. When I ran home in 2022, I never could have imagined all of the gifts this chapter would bring into my life. It has provided me with leadership opportunities I only dreamed of, lifelong friendships, and a deep passion for service. Through every challenge and celebration, Delta Gamma has been a source of encouragement and strength. I am the person I am today because of the gifts that this chapter has given me.

Our letters, “DG,” stand for “Do Good.” These words extend far beyond our philanthropic efforts, and guide us on how to live our lives as individuals. As Delta Gamma’s, we hold five core values: high ideals of friendship, social responsibility, qualities of character, educational interests, and cultural interests. Our symbol, the golden anchor, represents hope, support, and resilience. Just as an anchor is meant to steady a ship, we are committed to being a constant source of strength for each other. Wearing the golden anchor is a daily reminder of our dedication to our sisterhood and the unwavering support we provide.  Each of these values push us to be our best selves in order to “Do Good” for each other and for our chapter. One of the most fulfilling parts of my role as President is being able to watch our Vice President’s and chapter members become the best versions of themselves by exemplifying Delta Gamma’s values. The impact of Delta Gamma extends far beyond college—it shapes lifelong relationships and valuable skills that stay with you forever. Sisterhood is not just for these four years; it is for life.

Becoming a member of the “Do Good” sisterhood is easily one of the best things that has ever happened to me. Leading this chapter through this period of our lives is an honor I will never take for granted. I hope you enjoy exploring our website and seeing what makes Delta Gamma so special.

ITB,

Carlee McCook
